Making money with Google e-books in a nutshell.

I am sure you have seen ads that say "Make $xxx a day with Google" or "Googlecash" or something similar. Well, I am not denying that you can make money with Google, its just not as easy as the sites claim them to be. If you buy their product the end result of it would be creating a website and putting Adsense ads on them. They will tell you to research a niche and write articles about it, but they won't tell you which niche is profitable, they will leave it to you to research.

Lets face it, if they tell you their profitable niche it will give them more competition and in the end cost them money. So in the end, the product is like a skeleton, it is up to you, the buyer, to fill in the details. So, this is what those ebooks are in a nutshell. Sorry to disappoint you guys but that is the fact.

eBay tip 204 - Selling in bulk

Ok, so you have a lot of stuff to sell and would rather do it in one go. Depending on your goal, it can be good and bad. If your goal is to just dump the stuff to free more space, then you can sell it in a lot. However if your goal is to actually make some money, then its best to list the items individually.

Here is an example, I bought a lot of digital cameras from one website with the goal of reselling them at a higher price on eBay. Long story short, I made only half the money I put in. Why? I was too lazy to sell them off individually so I just sorted them in a lot of identical cameras and sold them off like that. It freed my closet, and unfortunately freed my wallet a bit too.

So in conclusion, if you are serious about selling on eBay, prepare to put a bit more effort into it. Only sell in bulk if your goal is to free your space and not make much money.

eBay Tip 203 - Feedback Ratings and Selling

Wow another post from me? That's saying something.

Here is another useful tip on eBay. This one especially applies to new eBay sellers. First of all, before selling products that cost over $100, get yourself at least a decent amount of feedback ratings. Start out small and work yourself up to build your credentials. I mean think about it, I for one, would be cautious when buying high priced items from seller with 0 feedback ratings. For all I know the seller could be a criminal that collects money from posting relatively popular and high priced items; once you pay for it, he is gone. Sure Paypal offers a $2000 buyer protection, but that would only work if the seller still uses Paypal and still has funds in it.

I was personally a victim of this trick once. I purchased an item for a pretty high price from a seller that had very low feedback rating, and the seller did not even respond to any of my emails. I filed a claim with Paypal, but they were only able to refund me a bit less than half of my money. I learned my lesson from this; well more like confirmed my suspicion.

One more thing, if you are a seller with a low feedback ratings, chances are you are not going to sell the item for a price that you would otherwise get if you had substantial amount of feedback ratings.

eBay Tip 202 - Shipping Supplies

Do you buy and sell on eBay? Great, you are one of the many eBayers out there. Now here is a tip that I am sure will come handy if you are shipping stuff from your home. Save the packing materials that you get when you buy stuff online. That way if you want to ship your item out, you can reuse the packing material.

It is great for the environment, as you are essentially recycling. Plus it will help keep your shipping costs down. There is nothing that people don't love more then low shipping. Trust me, high shipping rates tend to put off most buyers, well, at least me.

Packing materials to save

• Bubble Wraps
• Irregular boxes. Sure USPS can give you free boxes, but they are predetermined sizes.
• Packing peanuts. You can store them in the garbage bags or something.

Make money by selling electricity

First of all, I apologize for not posting in a long time. I write these as they come, and like I mentioned earlier, money is not an easy topic to write about especially on making them.

This idea actually requires technical knowledge and can be dangerous if not done by a professional. The idea is to sell electricity back to the electric company. Bet you didn't know you could do that, did ya? Yes there is a law in USA that states that if the household produces electricity, the company must pay them. Of course the pay is not that great, but the more you produce the more you make, right? You would have to check with your electric company to see their rates and restrictions on this matter.

Now what you need to get started is some source of electricity, example would be solar panels, or wind turbine. Next you need something called Grid-tie inverter. You can google to see what it is and how it works, since its beyond the scope of this post and blog.
