Ebay tips 201 - Selling on Ebay.

Ebay is a potential source of income where anyone with a product can make money. Scratch that, you don't even need a product to make money, but for this post, I am going share some tips on how to sell a product on Ebay.

The number one tip is to actually create a seller account, which is if you already hold buyer account, is simple enough to do. Once you are done we're ready to go. The next big step is to do a research on the product you are trying to sell. This can be accomplished in 2 ways. One way is to search Google for the product, the second is to search the actual ebay for the product. Existing auctions can be used as an inspiration of how to create your listing. Don't just copy the whole listing and change the detail to match your listing, its rude and unprofessional.

Next is to be as specific about the item as possible. Examine the item to be sure that you list everything thats visible.

When you put a title for your auction, don't use ALL CAPS. Using ALL CAPS is considered as yelling, and can sometimes make you look like a spammer. If there is someone looking for your item they will find it.

Finally, it is better to list your item in the evening then in the morning. Why? Because the item will end at the same hour and minute as it was listed, and if you chose 7-day listing, it will also end on the same day. As for the day of the week, list your item either on Tuesday or on weekends. Why Tuesday? I don't know. Then again, it all depends on the items you are trying to sell.

Hopefully you enjoyed reading this and learned something valuable. Ebay is a great place to make money, but it takes time and research to get the most out of it.
